After biocide application, moss dies over 4 to 8 weeks. It then gradually dries and either blows off or is removed at the dry-brushing stage. The roof will look worse before it looks better — dead moss turns brown before it clears. Full clearance typically takes one to three months from treatment to clean appearance.

No — professional biocide treatment is recommended by most tile manufacturers as routine maintenance. Pressure washing, however, can void warranties on some concrete tile systems by stripping the surface coating. This is another reason we do not offer pressure washing as a treatment method.
