Our free survey covers a physical inspection of the roof from the appropriate access level — not just a look from the ground. We assess tile condition and fixing integrity, ridge and valley details, chimney and flashing condition, flat roof surfaces where applicable, and fascia and gutter condition. Ask every roofer for an itemised written quote specifying: tile product by name and manufacturer, underlay specification, whether ridges are dry-fix or mortar, whether scaffolding is included, and the waste disposal arrangement. A quote that does not specify these elements cannot be fairly compared to one that does.
